In addition to the annual workshops, the Technical Committee on Safety Critical Systems:

• has prepared the  ACS Policy on Safety-Critical Systems
• has participated in the development of competency and training requirements for all stakeholders having a role in the life-cycle of a safety critical system (Kurt Bieri)
• has developed Standards Australia Handbook (HB 220-2000) on Safety Issues for Systems Containing Software
• aims to publish a newsletter four times a year
